Meet Our Donors
Gertrude Bock
In light of what is happening in today's world, I decided to make a gift annuity to Peace Action and the Peace Education Fund, mainly because of my concern about nuclear proliferation. More and more countries are acquiring nuclear weapons and it is important for the United States to provide leadership towards nuclear disarmament. Peace Action is playing a vital role in developing this leadership.

"We've included Peace Action West in our estate plan for the sake of our children. We believe that real security for their future means more than material security. We need to leave them the hope that their country and their planet will one day be free from the threat of nuclear annihilation and free from the fear that they or their children will be victims of war."

My husband and I have supported Peace Action for many years because we deeply believe in their wise, practical and effective efforts toward peace in the world. For the same reason, we have included Peace Action in our estate plan. We all recently learned that four countries in Africa and the Middle East are in great danger of experiencing severe famine, and the danger is largely due to the conflicts - the wars - in the region.
